Integration, interoperability, and performance testing to help you validate your specific virtualized network architecture
Today’s market moves faster than ever. NFV, SDN, SD-WAN, cloud computing, automation, and remote management technologies are transforming the service provider network. Redefining the services architecture enables providers to change the ROI equations and roll out new services to end users while creating new sources of revenue faster than ever before. To help our customers explore and understand this changing market, Walker and Associates invested an initial $1.2M into the Walker Software Networking Lab. This lab is specifically designed to help customers trial, test, evaluate and envision these innovative technologies.
As with any business interested in its longevity, the task of re-invention is ongoing. Since its 1970 origins, Walker has strategically redefined itself, now recognized in the industry as a steady leader. In response to trends of change, Walker announced in late 2016 development of its Virtual Networking Lab. As a value-added distributor, Walker has a rare combination of supplier partner breadth and technical depth, which has presented the opportunity to solve a significant problem facing our customers: interoperability.
In expanding the capabilities of this lab, Walker works with strategic OEM partners to test and package turn-key solutions for specific use cases. The exciting aspect of the lab, however, is working alongside customers to design, test, and deploy custom-tailored solutions for each customer’s network.
