New Beta test features a Long-range DECT Repeater for the DP750 DECT Base Station

Grandstream Networks, the leading manufacturer of IP voice/video telephony and video surveillance solutions, is releasing a new long-range DECT wideband HD repeater for beta testing by the Grandstream Beta Club. Grandstream will be opening applications for the beta test of this DECT repeater from March 6 to March 17. To apply go to betaclub.grandstream.com.

Grandstream Networks will be releasing a new DECT HD repeater to pair with the existing DP750 and DP720 DECT IP Phone. The upcoming new repeater will auto-associate with the DP750 base station to extend the range and provide users with enhanced freedom and flexibility to move about their home or business without losing connection to the base station.

For this new beta test, the Grandstream Beta Club is looking for testers who currently own a DP750 and DP720 DECT IP Phone bundle and have broad experience with DECT IP technology. Ideal applicants are those who have prior experience with Grandstream DECT IP phone products.

The new DECT HD repeater being released to the Grandstream Beta Club extends the range of the DP750 DECT base station to an additional range of up to 300 meters outdoors and 50 meters indoors. This DECT HD Repeater relays up to 2 concurrent HD calls, or 1 HD call in daisy chaining of 2 repeaters. After the repeater auto-associates with a DP750 base station, it retrieves the regional frequency band information from the paired DP750 and subsequently configures itself to that regional frequency setting. It also includes an Ethernet port with PoE for device provisioning, status monitoring and firmware updates. 50 units of the DECT repeater will be available for shipping to selected Beta Club members by late March 2017. Due to the specific product compatibility with the DP750 DECT IP base station, testers must own at least one DP750 and DP720 in order to be eligible.

Program Availability & Pricing
Each product beta test released through the Grandstream Beta Club will have a limited amount of beta test units available. Application to the Grandstream Beta Club is FREE. Selection of participants will be determined by Grandstream based on applicant qualification. Only testers who currently own at least one Grandstream DP750 and DP720 will be eligible for participation. The cost to participate in a beta test will be $1 to cover handling, however the product model and shipping will be free of charge for each active beta tester. There is no charge to applicants who are not selected for a Beta test.
